Apply for a Temporary Traffic Management card

Important information

  • All workers on NT Government roads need a Temporary Traffic Management card.
  • You must have completed training with an approved provider. You'll need to attach evidence of training or a copy of your previous traffic management card.
  • A passport-style photo is needed for the card. You can take it using your smartphone, but it must meet the photo requirements.
  • Make sure you have your Australian driver licence nearby. You'll need to verify it using an online verification service as part of the application process.

All steps must be completed in one go. You can't save your application and complete it at a later stage.

Payment options

The fee is $30 for both new applications and renewals. If you lose or damage your card, a replacement costs $20.

Name change requests are free.
