Apply for a death certificate

Important information

  • This application can only be used for a death that happened in the NT.
  • You’ll need to provide copies of identification documents as evidence that you are eligible to receive the certificate.
  • Eligible people include the spouse, parents and children of the deceased, and anyone if the death happened more than 30 years ago.
