Notify Environmental Health of a public event

Important information

  • If you're hosting a public event in the NT, you must meet certain public health and food safety requirements.
  • You should make a notification if your event is likely to need more toilets or other facilities at the site, or will have temporary or mobile food vendors.
  • Environmental Health can give you advice on how to meet your obligations if you notify them at least 30 days before the event.
  • You'll need to provide details about your event and the site including toilet facilities, waste management measures and food vendors.
