Apply for your licence or registration history

Important information

You can apply for driver licence or registration history if it's your information or you have the authority to request it.
You'll need to provide details about what's being searched such as the licence or registration number.
Applicants need to verify an Australian ID document online. This service checks existing government records to match your driver licence, passport, birth certificate or visa.
If you're applying as a company you'll also need to attach a current ASIC company extract and a letter of authority if you aren't the current director.

This takes about 10 minutes.

All steps must be completed in one go. You can't save your application and complete it at a later stage.

If your application is approved, you must pay the history search fee.

Depending on the service request, you may pay during your application or receive an email with a payment link.

You can pay online using a Mastercard or Visa credit or debit card.
