Important information

  • You can apply for personalised number plates for an NT-registered vehicle.
  • You'll need your MVR Customer ID and either your driver licence number or vehicle registration (number plate).
  • There are a variety of designs and colours to choose from. The characters you request must meet the guidelines.
  • Once approved, your plates will be available from an MVR office in 6 to 8 weeks. Time can vary during peak or holiday closure periods.
