Renew a commercial and private agent licence

Important information

  • Licences are valid for 3 or 5 years.
  • Renew your licence at least 3 months before it expires.
  • Submit a criminal history check, also known as a national police check, before applying. Find out how by reading police checks for licensing.
  • You’ll need to attach the results of your criminal history check to your licence application. If you don't, your application won't be processed until the results are provided.

New users

You’ll be prompted to register for Licensing NT if you haven’t used the system before.

Once you register, make sure you link any existing licences to your profile by contacting Occupational Licensing.

Payment options

There is a processing and granting fee. You can pay the processing fee when you apply online using a Mastercard or Visa credit or debit card.
