Apply for a permit for mobile food or coffee vans in parks

This service will be unavailable from 4pm to 6pm ACST on Thursday 16 July for system maintenance.

A permit is required to operate any type of food or coffee van in an NT park or reserve.
Permits are issued for different durations, ranging from a single event to a multi-year permit.
Before applying make sure your business is registered as a food business in the NT.
You’ll also need to include evidence of insurance, a risk assessment and photos of your van and menu.

This takes about 15 to 20 minutes.

All steps must be completed in one go. You can't save your application and complete it at a later stage.

The fee will depend on the duration of the permit and location of the park.

You’ll be contacted by the parks permits office to process a fee payment after submitting your application.
