Important information

  • You can apply for, amend or renew an existing pest management technician licence online.
  • You‘ll need to provide evidence of your pest management qualifications and ID.
  • You can verify an Australian ID document online. This service checks existing government records to match your driver licence, passport, birth certificate or visa.
  • If you’re using schedule 7 substances, you’ll need to provide pesticide and storage details.
  • To include or add fumigation to your licence, you’ll need to attach a medical fitness certificate and your 3 sites of inspection statement.

Payment options

There is a licence fee. You can pay online using a Mastercard or Visa credit or debit card.

You can also pay the fee by contacting the Receiver of Territory Monies (RTM). You have 90 days to pay the fee before your application is cancelled. Once paid, email a copy of the receipt to poisonscontrol@nt.gov.au.
