Pay your restricted rider licence fee

Important information

You can pay your $8 restricted rider licence fee online if you have all of the below.
- An NT open driver licence that won't expire in the next 30 days.
- A current NT class R learner licence that won't expire in the next 6 days. You must have held this licence for at least 6 months in the NT.
- Passed your pre-provisional rider training course.
Wait at least 3 business days after finishing the course to make payment.
Your restricted rider licence will be sent to the postal address on your MVR customer account. Make sure you update your contact details with MVR.

This takes less than 5 minutes.

Your learner licence conditions will continue to apply until you receive your new authority to ride from MVR.

Pay online using a Mastercard or Visa credit or debit card.

You can pay at an MVR office.
