Apply to manage a motor vehicle dealership

Important information

Motor vehicle dealers must have approved managers at each car yard they operate.
Submit a criminal history check, also known as a national police check, for the proposed manager before applying.
You’ll need to attach the results of the criminal history check to your application. If you don't, your application won't be processed until the results are provided.
Each application will also need 2 referee statements and proof of identity for the proposed manager.

You’ll be prompted to register for Licensing NT if you haven’t used the system before.

Once you register, make sure you link any existing licences to your profile by contacting Occupational Licensing.

There is a fee.
