Check the progress of a National Police Check

You can check the progress of a National Police Check online.
You'll need the applicant’s name and application number. The reference number can be found in the email sent to the applicant after they applied online.

This service only shows the progress of a National Police Check. No other information is displayed.

This takes less than 5 minutes.

The progress check will display one of the following results:

In progress – application has been received.
Expired – application couldn’t be processed.
Complete – application complete and a National Police Certificate has been issued.

If you don’t have the application number or to check why an application couldn’t be processed, contact SAFE NT.
