Apply for a Working with Children Clearance

Important information

If you work or volunteer with children in the NT you must have a Working with Children Clearance.
Your clearance, also known as an Ochre Card, needs to be renewed every 2 years.
You’ll need to attach copies of your identity documents and a passport photo to your application.
Volunteers get a reduced fee if they attach a completed volunteer concession form.

This takes about 20 to 30 minutes.

All steps must be completed in one go. You can't save your application and complete it at a later stage.

The application fee is $89. This is reduced to $8 for volunteers. Pay online using a Mastercard or Visa credit or debit card.
