Apply for a Working with Children Clearance

Important information

  • If you work or volunteer with children in the NT you must have a Working with Children Clearance.
  • Your clearance, also known as an Ochre Card, needs to be renewed every 2 years.
  • You’ll need to attach copies of your identity documents and a passport photo to your application.
  • Volunteers get a reduced fee if they attach a completed volunteer concession form.

Payment options

The application fee is $89. This is reduced to $8 for volunteers. Pay online using a Mastercard or Visa credit or debit card.
